Oct - Taleo User group in Singapore and Melbourne

I was privileged to cover the Annual Taleo User groups in both Singapore and Melbourne this year. We had 20+ attendies at the Singapore event and more than 60 attendies at the Melbourne event.

Oct 08 - Floriad, Canberra

Visiting Canberra during the Floriad has become a tradition for us. This year we visited Floriad with our friends, Anoop & family, Vivak & family and Miller & family. It was a fun filled day with lot of running round with the kids and not to mention enjoying the spring season flowers that Canberra had to offer. Enjoy some of the picts taken at Floriad.

Onam Celebrations 08

High-spirited people of Kerala celebrate Onam with gaiety and fervor. The festival is celebrated for a period of ten days, starting from the first day Atham and continuing till tenth and the biggest day called Thiru Onam. We celebrated the Thiru Onam ar our friends place this year. The Most exquisite pookalam was prepared by the ladies this day to welcome the spirit of King Maveli.

Highpoint of the day is the enormous lunch called Onasadya. This has lead to the saying in Malayalam, "Kanam Vittu Onam Unnanam" which means, "We should have the Thiruonam lunch even if we have to sell all our properties".

Number of games events were also organised on the day. These are collectively called Onakalikal.

                               

As part of the whole fun, I spent some time taking family photos with our traditional costumes.

Indu 28th Day celebrations

In Sept 08, I covered one of our friends daughter's 28th day function. It was a traditional lunch get together. Some of the priceless moments from this function.

Its been a while since I update our blog. Been busy with work, travel and less to no time to update the blog. Hopefully I will take time every week from now to update. In Sept 08 I spent some time with Ranjit and took some of his portfolio picts. Just thought I should share some of the cool picts of this handsome person. I was impressed how comfortable he was in front of the camera.
